That's a fantastic team, but how does a current player make it???...

they're obviously going to great lengths to talk him out of retirement ;-)

Er...there are two present players in there...

yeah, point taken..I can obviously cop Menzies being there but it's still interesting having BK there.

BK has been great for them, but he has only played 37 games for them.
Strange inclusion

That bench is weak, mainly because there is two halves on it. Honorable mentions from the more recent era i'm guessing would go to:

Geoff Toovey
Mark Carroll
Matt Ridge
Nik Kosef
Craig Innes
Craig Hancock
Dale Shearer
Ron Gibbs
Noel Cleal
Kerry Boustead
Daniel Gartner
K. Ward
David Gillespie
Ian Roberts
Jim Sedaris
Terry Hill
John Hopoate

And if BK was there, Watmough, Kite & Stewart shouldn't be written off either.

LeagueFan...

Toovey made the team as the halfback. No honourable mention for him needed

I don't know... Kennedy got a bench spot, and to be honest when you look at the passion he has put into the maroon and white over the last 2 seasons, I think it may be a fair call.

I wasn't a huge Kennedy fan before he came to Manly. I was always concerned he would be out injured like he was for many years at Newcastle. But Kennedy is leading a lot of the stats not only at Manly but across the NRL in his last season.

I would love to see him go another season!

Yeah Cliffy should have been 5/8 and Mossop should have been in for BK or Vautin

personally i would have also like to have seen Kosef there, alot would disagree, but he would have been an automatic choice had he not had 4 knee reco's imo

Fatty was damn good in his day. Vautin also captained a premiership. It's hard to keep him out.

Rex was probably unlucky.

You can pick the kids on here. Eadie or Ridge? Ridge was a clever footballer, but Eadie is in another level all together.

Never saw Eadie play but geez, Ridge was very talented at his best. Eadie must have been awesome to keep Ridge out of the side.
