Just both.

Milne is the best right centre at the club and Mann has great utility value.

If we can't keep both with Dugan now going then that would be a monumental piece of mismanagement imo.

I agree with you but tigers have made milne and offer so lets see what happens

Mary clearly thinks Mann, going on his selection for tomorrow.
I'll back Mary's call - reckon he'd have some 'inside' info us punters don't.

Mann

But surely we have cap space for both. Also we have opportunity for both.

Mann fullback next year and field at 17. Milne at left wing or vise versa.

Not sure if it's really a choice between Mann and Milne. But if I had to choose I'd go with Mann because he can cover halves. Also we have plenty of centres on our books.

Milne. I would have Milne and Lafai as our centres this year and next. I can not find a permanent position for Mann and I think it would be unfair on him to keep him as a utility. He deserves the right to lock down a first grade position at another club.
Mann should at least be kept as a winger. I'd say he is the best winger in the Club at the moment. But it seems that Millward is going to let both Mann and Milne go at end of season. It seems he is going to rely on Aitken and his juniors to do the job.

Hope to lock up Mann soon . Will be hard to keep if he is given a full time position by another club .....
He should be kept however, it seems Nightingale will go around another year so a left wing spot will not be available.

What brings you to this conclusion poss? I would feel far more comfortable if they had of been signed by now, but in the absence of Millward saying they are free agents, then i have to assume there is still a desire to retain them both. Or have you heard something different and definitive?

Mann adds more value overall.

Unless Milne was going to be signed and played as first choice centre at the clu, which I don't see happening, Mann is a better squad option and could easily hold his own in most positions from 1-7 (and probably even 9)

I like to know all these bad calls Mary has made this year so far.

He's made a couple thats true but seems to be if he made as many as some like to believe the club should be winning the wooden spoon.

Milne makes way too many errors to be a top line centre..
He won't b at the club next year.
Mann will be the right centre for the rest of the year now that he's been selected there and most probably next year ..

Aitken is Mary's favourite and Mann has proved to be not so favoured by Mary. If/when Aitken is fit to play next year and if Mary is still coach, you can be sure Aitken will be at right centre at the first opportunity.

Milne is still young and would not have made more mistakes than Aitken and possibly what Herbert would make in the right centre position. It's true that we are well off for right centres but the list is not top first grade material. Further development is required for the 3 candidates Aitken, Herbert and Milne however, on current form and from what I have seen this year, Milne is leading the charge in this race.

In saying the above, we need to take into the consideration the following:
Has Milne already signed with the Tigers?
Is Mann's retention a Millward target?
Will Aitken come back from his injury with speed and leg strength in tact?
