I don't think anything like this has ever been done before. I wish we could compare this map to how it looked 10 years ago. I know it would have looked a lot more bare back then.

Did you click through to the club's website? It's done according to the club's information and on their site it says that's where they're located.

I agree, I was just saying....

I was impressed that there's now a team in Georgia, 'Hooligana'. I'm sure they must play both, but who knows, hopefully it's the start of something there.

Great stuff - how do you make these? I'm studying this one with Nerdish glee... now, if only you could include a spreadsheet somewhere in there...

There seems to be some errors, however. Looking at Scotland (them being in the next Four Nations I'm interested to see how strong the game is domestically) and cross-checking with other sources it appears to be wrong...

According to the Scottish RL themselves at: http://scotlandrl.com/get_involved/clubs, they have 15 clubs (including a Wheelchair RL club), not five as on the map.

I suspect with something as ambitious as this there are bound to be a few bits and pieces that aren't quite right.

Not all of the clubs listed on the SRL website are still around and several of them are youth teams only.

No, the map has teams of all ages.

Whenever you click on one of the spots, you will see (for example): U12, U18, OA. OA means Open Age.

Scotland domestic scene is a worry.
It seemed Scotland had leap frogged Ireland, and Ireland was in the doldrums just a year or two ago.
But it seems they've swapped back again on the back of Sport Ireland funding and recognition.

Check you PM's I sent you a message.

Scotland's success last year can easily be put down to two things: 1) Danny Brough and 2) France choking in their first match against Ireland. It was by no means a reflection of their domestic scene.
