Faulkner had a bit of the Roy Symonds about him. Not a problem player really but just a loose unit. CA have also never been good at managing that and seem to steer clear of players like that unless they're so good they can't possibly ignore them.

He got a few white ball chances before the injuries and the drink driving stuff (I think it was?). But was cast aside after one test where he got 6/98 for the match and a pair of 20s...
