Tool: Just get the whole albums, starting off with Lateralus and Aenima. If you must hear songs get Parabol/Parabola, Eulogy, Aenima, Third Eye, Schism, Prison Sex. But get the albums!
MM: (S)aint, The Reflecting God, The Nobodies and This is the new sh*t is one of his famous songs.
The others you or rb1 have named.
And Sober by Tool is good too.
Mechanical Animals is excellent, I find his other albums a bit patchy. However any time Manson does a cover version it's usually gold, so they're always worth hearing: Sweet Dreams, I Put a Spell on You, Rock and Roll N**ger and Suicide is Painless are all great interpretations of the originals.
I'd rate Mechanical Animals as his most 'Consistant' album, it's done pretty well all the way through. Some of his others can have a bit of filler (Notably Antichrist, but that makes up for it with alot of great songs).
