You should hammer this premier league dragons side, although the Dragons definitely have the wood on Manly especially at Brookvale. Surely you'll get one back against them on Sunday.

p.s in your photo above is Soward doing a John Travolta impression?

I hope we do get youse in this week, we really need to start some momentum to prove all the doubters wrong especially in this article below

Price is not right

Jason Avedissian

http://manlydaily.com.au/article/2007/08/29/6152_sports.html ONE of rugby league's greatest has compared Manly to perennial Rugby World Cup chokers the All Blacks and says they can't win the NRL premiership.

Ex-Parramatta legend Ray Price believes the Sea Eagles will stumble at the final hurdle in their bid to claim their first crown since 1996.
Price told The Manly Daily at a Sea Eagles function yesterday aimed at raising awareness and funds for bowel cancer.
But when asked to comment on Manly's chances of going all the way, Price said it looked bleak.
``I've got a funny feeling Manly might falter in the end,'' he said.
``They have been a consistent side all year round and I hope they stay that way for Des (coach Des Hasler) . . . but it's hard (to win). Manly are like the All Blacks, they will find a way of losing.''
Manly fullback Brett Stewart shrugged off Price's prediction.
``It doesn't matter what others think,'' the Sea Eagles fullback, who will return on Sunday for Manly's final round clash with St George-Illawarra at Brookvale Oval, said.
``We have the belief in the team that we can win it. All the people who are involved at the club are what matters.''
Price said minor premiers Melbourne deserve favouritism with his ex-side under pressure to qualify for the finals next month.
``I think Melbourne are the side to beat,'' the dual international said.

``They have been strong all year. I'm disappointed with Parramatta. There are times when they can beat anyone, like Monday night (against the Dragons) . . . they didn't turn up to play.''
Price said the pressure of finals' football may be too much for the Sea Eagles.
``They have got a great combination of players, the Stewarts, the Watmoughs, they have a unique side,'' he said.
``But in saying that, I hope I'm wrong, but semi-finals is a game if you drop your concentration for one minute, it can cost you. I find it hard to tip Manly.''
Manly coach Des Hasler named a near full-strength squad for Sunday's clash with the Dragons.
Forward Glenn Hall (shoulder) and centre Steve Matai (neck) are both out, but the club welcomes back Brett Stewart, Brent Kite, Luke Williamson, Glenn Stewart and Steven Bell who all sat out last Sunday's loss to the Warriors.

p.s.
the pic of Soward was where he kicked a winning field goal

Rainman,

Yeah but those dragons sides didn't contain nobodies like Thorby, Setu, Peek, Hunt, Payne etc

Remember: Ryles, Hornby, Dean Young, Brett Morris, Justin Poore, Naiqama & Matt Head are all missing - some now permanently lol!!!!!!

I think Saints will really struggle.
