He always has an ice pack on his ankle after evry training session. Sorry to see him go but his health must come first.

He has a promising career in front of him in radio, cos with a head like that, he sure ain't gunna cut the mustard on the idiot box. Just joking. I actually have a lot of admiration for a bloke that belts it up the way he does.

Heres one for the rumour mill...

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

You heard it here first...

Martin Lang comes out of a one year retirement to be the Gold Coast's first signing, he is planning to move to the Gold Coast after this season anyway.

Once the body and the ankle gets a year off anything is possible. If the Gold Coast team gets off the ground they will look to compete straight away and Lang is a nice cornerstone in the pack.

Look for an article on this for LU in the next couple of days.

I doubt once he gave it away, that his wife would be too impressed about him
taking it up again.

She's a lovely lady, and she would probably like to have him at home with the
kids for a bit, while he's still able to actually run around a back yard with them,
and not after he's destroyed the ankle completely because of going on for too long.
