Early reports have said as few as 2 weeks but I wold not take that as gospel. I dare say we won't really know until Monday. Robbo said at the post match press conference he didn't know cause he did not know if they had managed to pop his wrist back in or not.

It is good for young Matagi to rip in and get some more FG under his belt. He plays just like the lawn Moa and if injury strikes during semi's then his game time in the next 3-4 weeks could be invaluable. As an aside I have got the feeling that maybe Robbo will also rest Pearceoff against the Knoughts..

Cheers captain. He had to have surgery to fix it didn't he?

Yes he did. Following is from the Roosters website -

Injury Report | Round 22

Tue 4th August, 11:30AM

Sam Moa suffered a dislocated wrist in last Friday?s win against the Canterbury-Bankstown Bulldogs, resulting in the prop leaving the field in the first half without return.

Moa has since had the wrist realigned and it is expected that he will be unavailable for selection for four weeks.

There were no other injuries to come out of the match.

So that will put Moa back for either Round 25 v Manly, or Round 26 v Souths.

Also as to who is replacing Moa, this week it looks like it is Isaac Lui. Mind you, Trent Robinson has named an extended bench for this Sunday. The bench is -

14 Jackson Hastings
15 Isaac Liu
16 Kane Evans
17 Sio Siua Taukeiaho
18 Suaia Matagi
19 Matt McIlwrick.
