It is game day ladies and gentlemen. While I am somewhat apprehensive about tonight, I will be cheering on our great team and club with as much gusto and intensity as I always do! I am so proud of how well our team has persisted in the face of adversity this season. Whatever the outcome - win or lose - they can hold their heads up high and look forward to a much bigger and brighter season in 2022.

Fire up you Roosters against those boys from Brookie, fire up!

As it turns out, I was hoping for a win rather than using my head.

In truth, we were always up against it. Unfortunately, the gravity and weight of our circumstances finally caught up with us. We tried hard at times during that game, but it was not enough.

Teddy was a stand out for us once again but, to me, at times it seemed as though he was the only one battling the Sea Eagles. That is just my perception. Others played okay as well, but unfortunately we had a few players who played terribly, and that did not help our cause. Anyway, let's focus on the off season and preparing for a much bigger and brighter 2022 - one hopefully the football gods might smile on us once again, and where our injury situation is a much more favourable one. We will be back - whether it be next year, 2023 or 2024 - I am confident about that!

Go Manly against the Rabble next week, that is all I can hope for!
