The Roosters were slow and let the Broncos dictate the play. The Broncos were aggressive in the ruck holding down and working the Roosters onto their backs. The Roosters made the tackle and got off far too quickly, I am not sure the Roosters won many rucks at all.
There seemed a general lack of organisation with the Roosters and that may have been a result of a lack of experience and also some poor handling.
I do think things looked up late in the second half, Raecene Mcgregor started to get involved and the players started running onto the ball.

The Roosters commitment was sensational though, the defence was ordinary at times but they scrambled well. To only let in 20 points with basically no pocession was quite an effort.
