The Storm aren't travelling that well, they've lost 3 games to our 4, so they can be beaten, we are a chance to get the 2 points.

This sounds nuts but I actually feel optimistic of a strong performance here. With Souths and the bye after this, a shitload of positive energy will be on this game. It is a "free throw at the stumps" type game. Im not saying we will win for sure but I'd be disappointed if we didn't deliver a strong performance here.

I cannot believe I have typed such a positive paragraph about us at round 10. My goodness, we have made progress.

We looked like a side that needed a rest V Saints, starting forwards have all played big mins and starting to tire. The effort in defence was the lowest Ive seen this year. Now another out of sydney game against a storm side who will be smarting. They'll get NAS, Warbrick back and Grant an outside chance. I think this could get ugly. 50+ wouldn't surprise.

What about the judiciary, a couple of their players were naughty.

Don't we have the best record of any opposition team at aami park? We always used to trouble the storm.

This will be the first time I have seen the tigers play 2 weeks in a row since I moved away from campbelltown 24 years ago! Bloody hope they get it done!

There are a couple commandments attached to this game.

Thou shalt get smashed by former players having their first start against the Tigers
Thy opposition shalt have players returning from injury / suspension who will have blinders
Thou shalt never win 3 in a row.
That's why they record the results, so everyone knows when something special has happened.
We've got this.

It was looking good for us last night. Storm playing a tough slogfest, all but surely to come home with the 2 points only for that damn fool Stefano (and the other bloke) to cost them the game.

Bellamy will be seething. Storm do look very beatable though if we can play tough for 80 mins. They have some Harlem Globetrotter-like moments but Raiders just got under their skin and they couldn't handle it.

Agree that the unchanged lineup is good.
I was thinking after we were chatting about Naden that Solomona Faataape was a good a centre with the Tigers up in Brisbane and I think he would be a better option that Nado. Brisbanites have a huge wrap on the guy.
It could be worth a revisiting his role, if not now maybe if Nado fails to deliver.
He wasn't available last week due to funeral commitments.
We have to pick on form and I thought he was good in the trials and in later games. Most of the talk regarding centres has been about To'a and Makasini and Faataape has flown under the radar somewhat.
The Forbes Ferrari deserves his spot after a good effort against the Dragons last week.

Yep, though I thought Faataape's problem was his defence, though that can be taught, he certainly knows where the try line is.

Naden out wide is a worry, he is clueless in defence. His injured knee doesn't help his game. Storm usually start quick then clock off allowing teams back into the game.
The storms forte is exploiting glaring opposition weaknesses & Naden will certainly be getting maximum traffic coming at him.Hence I have a bad feeling we are about to cop a flogging especially as they r coming off a loss & are at fortress AAMI park
