I think this is the game that could possibly make or break our season.

I think, hope, believe that our season has only just started, so us by 10, with Wakeham MoM.

Traditionally we haven't been good after a bye but this year have played well. We're a different team after the 1st bye we had.

Unbelievably Canberra won't be playing Croker this weekend, letting him have his 300th at home. This was according to the fox commentary on Saturday night so not sure if it's true or not. If so, they'll miss his leadership and goal kicking. This could prove important I'd it's close.

Should be a cracking game, this. Two very strong forward packs and both teams in a bit of form. Canberra have been our bogey side for a while, so it should be a good indicator of where we are at.

Canberra potentially without Whitehead, Crocker (both confirmed) then Young, Rapana, Kris and Saulo all in doubt

Fingers crossed Api gets through Wednesday night, even though Jakes been pretty decent at 9 when needed.

Api does well at not getting knocked around too much and 2 days is the sweet spot for backing up...not too hot and not too cold...even if he plays the first and last 20 it will be a huge plus ....them not having their first string goalkicker is pretty crazy

We never beat Canberra. This year feels different, I don’t think they’ll roll us through the middle like they usually do but still tipping them 1-12

I’m not convinced api was the main cog that set us off against the cowboys. If he doesn’t play his replacement has a go and I don’t think he will disrupt the machine.
Another whipping from us. One things for sure, Canberra will be nervous and attempt to bring their A game. And so they need to. Confidence is a funny thing and our young guns have it..

Too bad Ngatikaura was injured in nsw cup as would’ve liked to see him on the bench if Api doesn’t back up.

I can see how leaving Croker out for his 300th the following week could be taken as disrespect, but its been planned for a while and I think sheens will be more interested in the W than anything else, however he gets it

The raiders have been a completely different team since Croker came back. I'm stoked he's not playing. This is just a dumb decision and would be the type of thing we would be expected to do.

Sentimentality and personal achievements aren't even in the same postcode as winning as a team. It's not like its the 94 raiders.

Couldn't give a rats about the respect / disrespect thing. Just my opinion.

Of course canberra would have planned it when we were shit and it’s tough backtracking on a planned holiday..(assuming he gets a few days off)

We are short another FR?
Matamua plays at 13 so Pole could easily shift to FR. He basically just plays as a third FR anyway. Blore could play middle as well.

If they are our future I want to see how they go in grade, but I can be patient.
