Broncos game on repeat. Warriors season effectively ended today, will be curious to see their headspace for next week.

Assuming Pearce is not in origin and Klem and Safiti are, our biggest problem will be go forward with our pack.

Time for JSaf and Ese’ese to stand up along with Saulo. King and Gavet need to improve on last outing

Gavet needs to come off the bench. He is so ineffective when he starts.

Something like this:

8. JSaifiti
9. Levi
10. Ese'ese

15. King
16. Gavet

nib Newcastle Knights coach Nathan Brown has named a new-look team for the Round 16 clash against the Warriors on Saturday.

With Kalyn Ponga (calf) injured, Connor Watson lines up at fullback for the McDonald Jones Stadium match-up.

Hymel Hunt slides out onto the wing for Edrick Lee who is sidelined with a broken arm and the versatile Kurt Mann slots into the centres for what will be his 100th NRL game.

Mason Lino retains his place in the halves alongside Mitchell Pearce with Danny Levi returning from an ankle injury and straight into the starting side.

Under the circumstances, injuries/SOO, a good side, could make changes but think it is our best 17 so changes would only be shuffling.

Team looks good. I like that we have mostly stuck with players who have been a part of our wins and losses. These guys are used to playing with each other and would have trained out of position.
We have the option during the game to push Sione out and bring Mann in or put him at fullback and bring Watson up. That flexibility is a huge bonus.
Big game from JSaf please.
