Tough win. Forwards really stood up. D Saf, Leo and Elliott all strong. Marzhew was brilliant, definitely our best. Props to Cogger as well he’s been good the last 3 weeks and kicked really well today.

Good effort to make the finals. Even better to beat that old decrepit piece of shit and knock his side out. Him getting booed when he was on screen gave me joy.

Call me crazy…..but team lost a lot of momentum when Crossland went off

obviously coincided with them running out of gas

but makes you wonder if Crossland energy is a part of the reason for these last few wins
I was thinking the exact same thing. His line speed was missing in that final period. I thought Gamble would have come on for Coggee

Great win, huge effort, thought Ponga had mixed game, set up tries but had some poor passes and tackled on fifth meant he was virtually out of play for last tackle.
Marzhew was very strong, thought our bench, Hetherington, Croker and Jones were very good, strong and enthusiastic, Right side defence a worry, Gags, Cogger and Frizell that’s where they looked most likely. Our left looked in charge with Crosslands leading the way with Lucas and Best, I still worry about Marzhew but not in attack.

Any word on KP’s shoulder? Didn’t look troubled by it for too long, so hopefully it’s nothing.

Great game from the lads. Everyone had a great game.

All our forwards were superb. Get Croker and Brodie a contract!!! Heighington deserved to get paid today. Leo was cracking again. Frizz and Lucas are first class.

Ponga looks like he wants to take this club to a Premiership. Crossland and Cogger working out to be our best halves pairing is pretty depressing but Crossland won't let anyone down and Cogger has been pretty good these past few weeks.

Gagai vs. Hammer and Best vs. Ferbie was so good. So good. Best taking Herbie out with a fantastic tackle was sizzling!! Sharpe is so so good but Marzhew for man of the match for me. His carries had us making 50 metres coming out of our end all game. Great stuff.

Can't see us losing next week really.

What'd the salty old merkin say?
Had a massive cry about the obstruction no-try. Put the whole NRL on blast and told them to scrap the bunker. Said the Dolphins shouldn't even have been in a do or die game because they were robbed of 2 victories earlier in the season. Twice broke into extremely condescending and uncalled for laughter.

The salt was oceanic. It was something to savour. The pain in his sunken, lifeless eyes said it all. He's nothing but a washed up, decrepit Creeping Jesus.
