Between the Saifiti's looking very ordinary and the only bench forward worth feeding at the moment, Thompson, it just feels like we are in all sorts at the moment through the middle. Sue might have a bit of late footwork at the line but he's often pretty ineffective with a low work rate and he's a fringe first grader at best.

Desperately needing Barnett and Klemmer back in the side.

If only Croker was available. We now don’t have the forward depth we had a few weeks ago and we’re dependent on the Safs to lead what’s left of our pack and they’re turning out the worst form of their careers.
Would be good to see Daniel get dropped back to the bench still for Thompson. Put the wind up them about performance over reputation.

to be fair forward depth was always going to be an issue when we still don't have a locked in top 30 and as i mentioned earlier we have guys like Musgrove, Jack Johns and Saulo who have no business anywhere near a first grade squad taking up spots in the top 30 or in our case top 28. If you look at our forward and spine depth it truly highlights the failure of AOB as a squad builder:
Depth chart:
Props;
Dan Saifiti
Klemmer
Jacob Saifiti
Thompson
Croker (not top 30)
Saulo

Hooker;
Brailey
Randall

Edge;
Frizzell
Fitzgibbon
Barnett
Jones
Moimoisea
Jack Johns

Middle;
Mann
Sue
Crossland
Sasagi

Halves;
Clifford
Clune

Mention in todays Tele that dolphins looking at Croker, he should have already been signed by us and we better make it a priority or else we loose him even if his contract is for next season onwards.
He has younger brother in Flagg so if he turns out any good then we would likely loose him as well

Wonder if they were looking at Croker just a piece to help the Ponga negotiations..

Are they looking at him though? Or is Wayne just trying to make us spend more money on someone than we want to as an 'up yours' for not getting Ponga?

I bloody loved Junior Sau. Part of golden era of Knights Islander recruits under Smith that managed to occasionally bring joy to ones life. Sau, Vuna, Taia, Fa'aoso, Uate. Good times.
But the joy was matched or exceeded by the frustration. Ah well, at least it was fun. A lot more than you can say about this current rabble.

This is probably what you all expected but to see it visually hurts... Take away the first 2 rounds of this season and here's how the NRL ladder looks...

Why are we taking away the first two rounds?

Seems ridiculous.

Win this weekend and we are 3 from 6 after what was described as a tough start to the season prior to commencement. I'd say that is a pass personally and pre-season if someone said we could be 3 from 6 i'm thinking many would be happy to take those figures.

We have some injuries but from hear we can build in to our season and see where we land.
