How about Manly copping us after a piss poor performance. That’s what I want it to be. Us coming out this week to prove ourselves after last week.
We better come out with that attitude.

I'm hugely reluctant but maybe give Crossland a bench spot. Hoy isn't doing much and Crossland might be able to take control if needed.
If not, a short run by Crossland will get him match experience if we need a 7. It won't hurt considering Hoy is just a number atm.

As much as Guerra has regressed the past year or two, he has been super reliable. Great to have him around. But perhaps we would be better served with Brodie Jones on the bench this week?

Have to start fast in this one otherwise it’s going to be another long afternoon at Brookie!

Sunday afternoons at Brookie haunt me big time as a Knights fan. Constant thrashings and many injuries... sometimes even both! O’Brien will want have the boys ready for this one, otherwise it will get real ugly.

Garrick was caught out of position quite a few times last week so they’d be mad not to test him. Also, not sure who is marking Funa but if it’s Eddy, bombs away! Funa has a nightmare containing Coates a few weeks back and would be smart to try him out this week.

Expecting Manly to flog us as per usual at Brookvale. Last week's performance has really put a spotlight on how bad we've been the past 3 weeks imo. We've got an out of form halfback and a bad attitude. This team needs to do a lot more for a lot longer before I say we've turned a corner.

We deserve better.

Pearce simply needs to step up. Kick the ball down the other end and put a good finish to the sets we actually hang on to the ball. Oh, maybe he could create something in attack?

That may help some what?

If we are belted, it will be a very interesting week next round when the team is announced.

Are we at the point where we think at the end of 2021 we don't resign Pearce and use his million a year and go hard after a player like Moses, keary or cleary

Or would we be better of using that money elsewhere and hope that crossland develops enough by then

Depends. How many games a season do you expect him to play well, lead the team around and guide us to victory when needed @ million a year?

No. He’s had a couple of poor weeks but it’s way too soon to write him off.

With his experience and as captain, consistency would be nice.

You gave him a fair raz on the other forum Mozza. Said he had 'been garbage'. Being nicer to him here aren't you?

'Couple of poor weeks' compared to 'garbage'.

Hmmm.

You’re obsessed. Maybe abit of hyperbole while debating with the Cowboys troll.

He was decent before the break.
He was definitely garbage against the Cowboys. Was up and down against Brisbane. Average against Melbourne. Quite good against Canberra Unconscious against Penrith.

So probably closer to poor than garbage since the resumption.

That being said I don’t think we need to look elsewhere. He’ll come good.
