I was wondering if someone could tell me if St Helens could select Matt Gidley in the team to play the Broncos?
I personally can't see a problem with it seeing as though now Matt Gidley does play for St Helens. anyway just wondering

Cheers,
Pumba

No rules against it, I think Brisbane have three GF players that aren't with the club anymore that needed others to take they're place.

St Helens will need Gidley on board, as word is their squad is carrying a few injuries at present, and is generally struggling as far as results for 80 mins are concerned. All things considered I think Brisbane will be one of the few Australian clubs to come over and win this challenge.

There you go, he's in the 20-man squad. This gets cut to 18 a day before the match.

St Helens 20-man squad: Paul Wellens, Ade Gardner, Matt Gidley, Willie Talau, Francis Meli, Leon Pryce, Sean Long, Nick Fozzard, Keiron Cunningham, Jason Cayless, Mike Bennett, Lee Gilmour, Jon Wilkin, James Roby, Maurie Fa’asavalu, James Graham, Bryn Hargreaves, Scott Moore, Jason Hooper, Ian Hardman

Cunningham rumoured to be injured, Wilkin returning from suspension, Cayless returning from injury...

Maurie Faasavalu is definitely out with a knee injury for 4 weeks, Cunningham is rated highly doubtful and Hooper will only play if needed.

They're that desperate they have to name injured guys in their squad list... I'm feeling that this game might go to the Broncos by a long way, and usually I favour the English team to win these matches.

It couldn't have gone any worse for St Helens could it ?
Hadfield said Cunningham is definitley out while Gilmour and Wellens are nowhere near fully fit.
Paul Clough would've been on the bench but he is recovering from a broken foot.

Would be great to see Scott Moore start at hooker now and show everybody that he really is one with a big future.
