Appartantly to free up money, the Warriors are letting him go. Not a great thing on your resume, not playing in a team that's going to get the wooden spoon, but... An ex Newcastle player from memory, not exactly a tackle busting machine, but a prop none the less. We could do worse i.e. NOBODY! Wouldn't cost a great deal either, I wouldn't think. Thoughts?

Not too sure. But then again this time last year we tried for nearly 60 players, and we only ended up with 6. so it's not a real good sign for things to come for next year.

Yeah,we may as well stop supporting.We are never going to sign anyone,our team is poo,its going to rain every time we play......

PS....we already have plenty of mediocre forwards,lets go and buy another one....

Simon, its good to see that someone else realises the absurd hysteria that goes on here whenever we lose lol or don't sign a player.......its almost as if the apocalypse is upon us

Okay so in 2 weeks we lose 106-0 and nobody realises the need to panic? We can't beat perennial Wooden Spoon favourites, Souths, when we HAD money to buy players, we bought HAS-BEENS, and a week into silly season we still have no-one on board yet.
I'm not panicking, but I am raising awareness that it might be time for Mr. Noyce to finally DO SOMETHING.

Were you saying we bought has-beens when we won three in a row? A week into the silly season? Don't you understand that if you negotiate with a player without a club's permission before the deadline that is tampering and we can be fined? BTW-do you also know that players don't only talk to one club, but several when finding new clubs to play at? Do you think that process is a fast process with the players training, working and playing throughout the week? Grow up.....Mr. Noyce is doing something, just because he doesn't go and BLURT it out on an internet forum doesn't mean nothing is happening..........

I like your HAS-BEENS comment......none of these players were HAS-BEENS.....oh and if you're going to mention Nick Graham.....his slide began this year, not last year

Okay, but Kennedy and Kite, were both allowed to negotiate with other clubs before the deadline. How come we didn't talk to either of these 2, regardless of what you think of them as players/individuals. Like I said before you have to be linked with a player before you can sign them.
Three wins DO NOT make a season. Who did we beat? An undermanned Canterbury, a terrible Parramatta without one of their best all year (Morris) and a Canberra outfit struggling to find any form. But hey they were three in a row, WHOOP-DE-FU(KING-DOO.
If you want to talk about our performances this year, we've also had 3 heavy losses 22-0, 50-0 and 56-0! I don't care if they were the Roosters and the Dragons, it is no excuse to not score any points, not a single one, in 240 minutes of football.
And if Nick Graham's slide began this year, he's getting nothing but OLDER. Cut him loose thank him for his time, and free up some money for next year. That is DOING SOMETHING. It's time to get ruthless.

Mate.....I understand that you are worried,I am too.

But.....we could never have signed Kite or Kennedy.They were given huge sign on fees(cos Manly was nearly a mill uinder their cap) as well as 300K a year.We just couldnt match Manly,simple as that.

May I also remind you that Penrith (the Premiers)just got beaten by Melbourne by 60 odd points.......

Its a long way to go,the season isnt over yet,and its no use getting yer knickers in a knot.

PS....if we lose to Manly this weekend then you can start pressing the panic button and I will be joining you.

True. I just hope that Monday isn't the official Wests Tigers "Panic Button Pushing" day. P.S We were full-strength against Roosters (both times) and St George all bar Benji, where as Penrith were without Gower,Girdler,Lewis,Rooney,Ross. With Campbell playing his first game back from injury for 4(?) weeks. So even though it was a heavy loss...

It just seems like we are being left behind.....I listen to the radio, read websites and papers, watch TV and there is NOTHING...SFA!! about WestsTigers. Only that we lost Covell.

It seems like nothing is happening.....and people wonder why other people
are getting toey... :roll:

3 losses on the trot.....average fringe first graders linked to us....the only bright spot in the last month has been being able to blame the ref last week and seeing SOME improvement form that game. Cant even say Im confident we'll beat the wooden spoon favourites.

we weren't full strength vs roosters and dragons.

reynolds
fitzhenry (roosters game)
galea
prince (dragons game)

we were far from full strength. we wouldnt have won with those players in the team.. i was just making a point.

all those players except maybe reynolds would have been in the team.
