Do you think Saint Benny should make a play for him or stick with someone like Chase Stanley?

He would be a decent buy but would command a lot of money which im not sure hes worth.

I've been watching alot of Super League lately and from what i've seen Matt King is overated , i can't blame his club for tryen to offload him
In NRL he would be very lucky to get 350k , unless Cronulla or the Dogs pay again to much for a signing

A top quality Hooker? What! Luke Priddis and Dean Young [for back-up in case Priddis goes down with injury]? Hooker would be one of our strongest positions! Neville Costigan has played Hooker at NRL level [with the Broncos in 2004 and 2006]

If anything we need a Hooker to come off the bench! Shame Rangi Chase went to England, actually shame St George Illawarra's front office couldn't find an extra $40k a year to keep him!

i think with the addition of a clever half back we can be a contender with this team. we have already fixed the coaching problem now we need a half to steer this talented but rudderless team around the field.

You are right there are definitely better Hookers going around but they all are unfortunately under contract or left to get the big bucks in England. Michael Ennis should have been our number one priority for Hooker but Mark Gasnier was still signed with us when the Bulldogs signed Michael Ennis so we didn't have the salary cap space then.

Luke Priddis was the best Hooker coming off contract for the 2009 season and I believe it’s a good signing for us. I can't remember us having a good Hooker* since Nathan Brown.
