The Broncos want to release Matt Lodge. Should the Dragons make a play for him?

So..

The wooden spooners want to release someone they think is shit.

That in itself is reason enough to say no.

However, then you also need to take into account this player also terrorised an innocent family in their own home, and proceeded to skip the country to avoid paying for his crime.

Based on those factors, would you take him Possm?

Nope,

Players like lodge, klemmer etc will need to change trim down and change the way they play or will quickly be a spent force on the nrl. The game is moving quickly and future props will be all about leg speed and quick ptb.

Exactly.

Only extended last season.

He is a prime example of how much the game has changed.

Plus he's a douch...

Yes. Would have more impact running the ball than our current lot snd has an offload. If Fit can play as struggled with injury lately so if the price is right!
But he won’t be wanted by our hierarchy which I understand. so possibly wasted energy thinking about it, although we went hard on a remorseful Packer.

Packer served his time & came back the hard way.

Lodge ran away & didn’t show remorse.

I say, let the law take care of the off-field stuff and Griffin take care of the on-field stuff. We need some hard and tough forwards who can match it with opposition packs.
Vaughan
McInnes
Welch
T Sims
Big O
De Belin

McGuire
Lodge
Kerr
Pangai Jr / Ford

Now that is a hard and tough forward pack. Griffin will have them dominating the opposition week in week out.
