Can anyone fill me in on what is happenning with Matt Seers ?

He kinda dropped off the radar a few weeks ago

He did nothing whatsoever in PL Andrew. He just sort of hung back behind the line and barked at everyone. Never looked like making a break or creating anything. He was a gamble that didn't pay off. I have no idea if he is injured or not but I doubt we'll be re-signing him.

Good depth perhaps, but you're like to think Franze, Kent, Pelo and Saleh would be ahead of him for a run in the backs.

Correct me if I'm wrong but he is not exactly a young player, so to speak.

I raised the point as I also thought we had plenty of depth in the backs with Saleh and co.

Seers isn't young no. He is 34 from memory and as far as depth goes, I think it is obvious that he offers no depth whatsoever. If he can't even compete at PL, what value is he?

He makes a great hot dog just as he will be able to clean a mean dunny. Thats about all he is good for down at shark park. Sorry to be nasty, but he was a good idea that evaporated very quickly. Saleh on the other hand has been good.

Then why buy Seers ?? Anyone got any good oil on why so little faith was placed in Saleh ??
