A lot of people bagged his signing as much on his personality as his professional ability, but he has been absolutely fantastic the last two weeks. Gives us so much power through the ruck, power that Fitzy or Beau could only dream of. Hasn't proven costly in defence yet.

Lui looking much more assured.
Ayshford running strongly in the ruck.
Galloway was towering tonight.
Shirnack's and Woods not looking out of place in firsts.

hes a premiership player.

a new zealand player

a very astute siging IMO regardless of his age.
Thats right, some of our supporters though bag him and would rather Sleau Beau, not me,he runs hard and catches his passes unlike some others who have played there before.

I was one of those who bagged him pre season but I'm happy to choke on my words if he continues to put in good performances.

We have badly missed straight and strong runs from dummy half on tackles 1 and 2 coming out of our end, Taquiri is more often than not guilty of running sideways.

Yeah I was another premature bagger but credit where credits due, hes been great as have Woods and Schirnack. Fifita is coming along nicely too, looks a lot fitter.

Glad it wasnt only me noticing this, very unfair imo.
People that call themselves supporters but wont give a new player that pulls on our jersey a chance...due to whatever bias they had towards him

I must admit I wasn't happy when we signed him but am happy to be proved wrong. I though Mitch Brown did enough last year to deserve a crack at a first grade spot.
He has looked great in the past 2 games and really takes the pressure off our forwards with his powerful runs coming off our line.

I wanted Brown on the wing (still don't think he deserve to be dropped on last years performances), but Utai has been great.

And I doubt anyone wanted Ryan over Utai, I didn't. Ryan is f**king hopeless.

Utai has been on fire. Did anyone else notice that Woods had a blinder on Sat? Close to our best forward I would say.

given his size and height and that he may not be too quick, I'd be throwing him into the centres now that we have Lote and Rowdy out.

Brown onto the wing.

Throw me in the "told you so" category

At no point in his career has Utai not been one of the hardest blokes to tackle in the game. That is no minor skill.

I wouldn't say he has been fantastic. Been pretty solid, but not fantastic. Utai called folksey during the off season wanting a run.

If anyting, Lortay has been pretty quiet for while now. Can't recall the last time he had a blinder.
