Matthew Stafford - Where does he rank?

The numbers this guy has put up, if it were any other season he would be right up there in the MVP talks, but theres been 3 other QBs that have also put up huge numbers this year.

The Lions are headed to the playoffs with probably an 11-5 record and an offense that is hard to stop and they also have a QB than can win them the game in the last 2 minutes if needed.

This year there was a few games he stunk, but it was due to playing injured and wearing a glove. Take away those games this guy has 30 TD to 5 INTs and an 105 QB rating.

So where do you rank this guy? He showed good promise last year but couldn't stay healthy, this year he has absolutely killed it and is getting better as he settles in and strings games together.

Top 5? Top 10? How good can he be if the Lions keep, or even improve on their offensive weapons?

Top 10, Ive got him behind Rodgers, Manning, Brady, Brees, Ben thats my automatic top 5... he's in the next group with Rivers, Eli, Vick, Romo, Ryan and Stafford... pending what week you get them, would depend on your rankings.

Cam Newton will quickly find his way in that with another repeat performance of this year and Andy Dalton and Alex Smith could be talked in that 5-10 range with another year or two of good results too

Stafford is the man, I have been very successful in fantasy comps this year based on getting him considerably late in my drafts.

Started hot...faded badly in the middle of the year...came back strong last 3 weeks.

He's a top 10 QB. Its his first FULL season let us keep in mind.

I need to see 2 more FULL seasons before suggesting he is up there in the top 5.

Dog killer Vick lol, he's just an upgraded version of Tebow, a HB trying to play QB.

Stafford is having a very good year and alot to do that is because he has stayed healthy. I think he only played 16 games the first 2 seasons so he pretty much missed out on half the games.

With the Falcons losing today it means the Lions will be the 5th seed if they win next week which puts them against the winner of Giants - Cowboys first week of the playoffs. 2 teams that have suspect secondaries that Stafford, Calvin, Pettigrew and Nate could tear apart.

I'd rank him #1 in Detroit and #4 in the NFC (equal)

Top 10 in the whole comp - just

Give him three more seasons doing what he's done and I reckon he'd be top 5
