I can't sit back and not let my feelings known, this is a complete farce. Is the thing to send Peachey off a winner permeated in to making the reffing of the PL game a joke.

It is the worst refereeing perforimance since Hartley and Manly, a complete and utter joke, no matter rthe result somethi=ng should be said and done about the incompetence of the officiating from forward passes to hold down, a frigging debacle

I agree, a 9-2 penalty count was just ridiculous.

A penalty goal and a try for Norths, both off the back of dubious stripping calls (particularly the Peachey Try, the other incident Paea just let go).

To win in the last 20 seconds was great - tremendous effort.

I think the point is that the refereeing in the lower grades reflects a standard that isn't satisfactory, and that is part of the reasaon.

It was awful and inconsistent in both lower grades.

By the way all but 2/3 players are eligible for NYC U/20 next year, 19 year olds performed b rilliantly for the club.

Jeebus... Geelong went 40 years or something between wins - it's football, it happens! Be happy that we are close and therefore more chance of a win, in part because of the consistent performance of our lower squads.

That reffing performance was a joke, it was heavily one sided!!! He was blatantly on Norths side, there are no if's or but's about it!!!

The crap that we have had to endure from not only the first grade refs, but the lower grade refs has been appauling, i have seen games actually decided on the referee this year in the lower grades......something needs to be done!!

He has the power to overrule judgements, I know it rarely happens, but some of the calls were so piss poor.

Thank f*&^ Peachey is gone. All the tears about a "legend" is ridiculous. At the end of the day, he was a good solid forst grader. He was nothing special. Anyone want to take anissue with this, just look at his rep record. Or lack of it. All the crap about Souths not allowing him the "proper" send off is crap. He was only at Souths 2 years and JT copped sh*t for putting him in reserve grade. That's where he should have been!

Good on the PL boys. It was great to see!
