And best of all its the same 17, went in week out, then again he may only can count to 17 and only ever has the one game plan. We have no structure, put a field or lomax in, we suffer so much ......

Letter to The Fans

Slump what slump?
Before last weeks game we were just 1 game away from being in top form and being top 2 material.
Lose to the Eels and everyone goes negative
Fans whinging and whining and TV shows taking the piss out of us.
FMD this is devastating news I just can’t believe it, anyone would think we haven’t improved
Last year we didn’t make the 8 but we were in real doubt before the last round at least this year we are a better chance as we are coming from a position of strength and we just need someone to beet that WestTigers mob by the way who do they play after us I might contact their coach to help him?
Anyway no need to worry I’ve still got a year to go on my contract and me and Lats will have the boys reeling with laughter in the shed in 2019
By the way if we don’t make the 8 next year blame Nighty because he didn’t sign up again.

If they beat us and we lose to the Dogs next week it will come down to the last round.

It's very coincidental that on the day the Brisbane CEO publicly states that Bennett isn't going anywhere that McGregor comes out and FINALLY said you can blame me.

It's almost like someone had a word in his ear to tell him. "Hey look mate we can't get Bennett so you're safe for next year. Why don't you take a bit of heat off the players and make a statement about this 'slump' being your fault. It will make you look good."

Nothing more than an attempt to imitate the Bennett’s who make themselves the lightning rod when things are rough.
