I have no respect for him for continuing to give players a 5 minute run, this isn't soccer and looks like he has burnt the players out earlier this year.
I have never seen a bench so improperly used , its just pathetic , its taking its toll.

Looks like he's lost the sheds to me. The backs are leaking points, have done all year and MacGregor has not done anything to fix it. The forwards have either given up or are too busted to make a difference.

Another failure of a season, with at least one more to come after that.

He was one of our worst yesterday. and hasn’t been playing well since returning from injury. I love the guy he certainly gives it his all and I’m sure he’ll bounce back.

Positives : Lulia continues to improve, Field was run at all day and only missed one tackle, Kerr is starting to learn how to use his big body.
Negatives ; We don't seem to be able to play busted.Tyson, Simms, Graham & Host have lost it the past month. Our backs are not good enough to play well behind a pack that is not dominating. Hunt really does have a head problem and if the coach is true to his word those making the same mistakes need to be dropped , should include him.

I don't know where we go from here.
L plate has stated on numerous times he now has the team he wanted. Well either the team he wanted is nowhere good enough or he's not good enough to be a head coach.There's probably merit in both but imo it's particularly in the coaching department.We are probably the smallest team in the NRL,especially the backs & lack speed,skill & footy smarts.
The last few weeks Dufty has been caught well out of position which has led to tries.Is it not the fullbacks job to marshall the defensive line & tell players where & who to mark up on.You never see him barking orders from the back.
Now this is not to blame all our problems on him but this is one of the issues L plate has stated re players doing the same things over a period of time & still nothing has been done to rectify it.

Nothing new, the Board has looked stupid for years. It is time for them to act and if they do not want to dirty their soft hands, then appoint Gould and get him to sort it all out. He can take the incoming.

The missed tackles started in the first minute.
The lazy defensive misreads started in the first minute.
The lazy errors started in the first minute.
The shit kicking game started in the first minute.

We have too many players who are not first grade standard yet on the field.

The sad fact is that many of these players are players a lot of you have been bleating about not being given a run in first grade.

Sorry, I can’t fully agree with you, yes there are some players who are marginal first graders however there are many more who are playing busted plus I think more likely have had enough of been coached by a moron. I think the thread headline lost the players is probably close to the mark or else it should be is rapidly in the process of losing the players. St George need a new coach. FACT.

So by appointing Gould as Manager of Football, there is a good chance Mary will get p*d off with the direct questioning of his decisions and the thought of being dropped to reserve grade. The Board may not have to sack him, he may walk with a golden handshake instead.

The healthcare of his roster is a very important part of a head coach's responsibilities. Playing players busted or even fatigued should be avoided rather than be the norm.
