Media saying they ran it by Brailey before hand so sounds like it's defn Cam to lock and Brailey stays at 9. Which makes most sense.

Great news. My original concern was us throwing away a 22 year old who we have done everything to develop. Brailey for mine with these new rules is a must keep.

I can get around McInnes fixing our leaky middle as a ball playing lock. If you look at our pack hooker depth/13 is the biggest issue. I think we have bigger issues as a team but a ball playing middle who can fix our defence isn't a bad thing. Our middle can't control the ruck currently. 600k is probably less than Fifita and Woods who create a lot of these problems.

If we could work out a trade to send the Billy McGoo for him now that would be win/win. Just can't get the dollars to match up.

Definitely one of the best middle defenders in the nrl. If not the best. Solves a huge problem in this team. Hope we do whatever we can to get him early.

Just a thought from a disgruntled Dragons fan....Does this mean Mary might be on the way to Cronulla next year as well? Currently there is a vacancy there with no coach signed for next year, or even as an assistant...

This is my biggest concern also. Assistant, I can live with. Head coach yuck.

Yet another article says the opposite and he thinks Lock is his new position. More likely to get a look in for origin if he plays lock. Can be seen as that bench utility perhaps.

Besides the club got rid of Jayden because they love Blayke. His dad works with the juniors and he's said a million times he loves the club and doesn't want to leave. I can't see them signing him to play hooker.

Besides in a years time I don't think he's that much better than Brailey. Certainly not offensively.

There is no way in hell that we would get rid of Brailey, our absolute long term hooker to sign McInnes. There is no way the club would do that. McInnes will play 13.

Couldn’t really ask for a better “money ball” signing!! Fits the bill on what the club needs in every way! Ticks so many boxes and also shows the club is tight with no leaks coming out!
