Stupid comments, Used that stupid high pitched voice he puts on all through the show, spent the last few mins going on about singing if your happy and clapping your hands or something stupid like that. McIvor is the head of commentary at SKY. Ie he critiques, reviews, appraises, manages etc all the commentators - across all sports.

He literally runs the show. Even going so far as being the business manager for 40/20 and SKY League coverage... and by that I mean he is the one who goes out looking for sponsors, advertisers etc, it is insane. OT his credit thought, if it weren't for McIvor league would be even more of a poor cousin on SKY. He has pushed hard for the extent of coverage that we now enjoy.

Those who have met McIvor would probably agree that what you see of him on TV is the tip of the iceberg in regards to how hyperactive and annoying he is. In real life he is a complete pest who thinks he's running a 24/7 stand-up comedy routine.

When he was in London I thought the league coverage was the best it had ever been. No 40/20 and no pre match or half time crap when the warriors played in Aus.

Seriously mate he is, and Ive had first hand experiences with 'Salesman Steve'.

From what I understand 40/20 was only birthed due to his persistance and SKY gave him very little support and/or resources to do it. The arrangement is that he has to make it work, and has to do it on his initiative.

He is the salesman, the director, the writer, the producer, the ratings analyst - everything.
