I think we must try and retain Peachey Nutley Gallen Dumas and Sullivan. These 5 should be the main priority and maybe Greg Bird, i still think he has some potential. Throw a bit of money at the others even if just for depth purposes, they can all be used as Premier League players that can fill in in the case of injuries.

Bird is on a lot of money that we could give to someone good like Toopi or dererving like Sully. Piss him off!

In regards to Bird I dont think it would hurt to offer him some sort of contract. I dont think he will be very sought after by other clubs (could be wrong tho) after not playing most of this year. As a result i think if we could sign him for a low price he would be worth it. If he wants big bucks get rid of him but if we can sign him for not much if might be worth the risk. You never know he might one day live up to the expectations some people had about him.
