Mediterranean Cup results, day 2
The second day of the 2004 Mediterranean Cup took place last night (Tuesday 5th October) in Tripoli. France faced Serbia-Montenegro and Lebanon faced Morocco.
Unfortunately France and Serbia-Montenegro played only 25 minutes before the Tripoli International Stadium was thrown into the darkness of the night due to a power cut. France was leading 18-4, with Romain Gagliazzo scoring 3 tries. Without floodlights the game was declared over by the organizers.
Thanks to a phone call from the Lebanese Republic Presidence to the electricity board, the second game of the evening started, but later than scheduled.
