average...and I'm a huge Megadeth fan...i've listened to it 3 or 4 times and no song really sticks in my mind.

It's not a terrible album, but definitely nothing memorable about it.

The guitar work is great thanks to Mr Broderick...


But Porcupine Tree's newie - 'The Incident' - is a masterpiece!!!

Well I guess I disagree with others here because I think it's Megadeth's best album in a long time, ie. since 1994's "Youthanasia".

That said, I haven't listened to it that much, so I might end up changing my mind.

that really doesn't say much.... all their best work was 80s/early 90s, like Metallica.

I liked United Abominations far better than this

Yeah, the earliest stuff was by far the best.

I just think Endgame is decent and ranks above the other newer stuff like United Abominations, The System Has Failed, The World Needs a Hero, Risk, etc.

As a Hard rock album Risk is awesome....As a "Megadeth" album its obviously not what we are after.

I don't mind Endgame, certainly not the greatest MD CD ever. I'd give it 3/5.
Still will be cool seeing them in a months time with Slayer.
