on any other Saturday arvo, thats a dead heat

One nose is touching the line and the other clearly isn't, albeit by the smallest of margins and the same result would be called every single time. As for my bets had the trifecta 10 times......but needed Americain to win as i had it one out for first so got zip. It was a massive run from the horse and if he wasn't ridden so cold and was a ridden a bit closer throughout the race there's no doubt he could've won even with the weight but that's racing.

lol this is the punters forum - a place to spruike your bets and wins. Besides this is the first time ive ever had a win on the horses so im ecstatic and love telling people!

As for the friends bet...ive no idea. A workmate told me her friend had a $10 bet on 3-12-9 as the trifecta which paid about 4500-1 so thats all i know.

I know very little about horse racing, which is probably why i won. I had $1500 left in my centrebet account and decided that given how miserable ive been at sports betting id have a crack at the horses instead. So it was an all or nothing bet on the Melbourne Cup to try and win back what id lost on sports betting the past few months.

Pure luck and it'll be back to $50 bets on the Melbourne Cup from now on.
