Melbourne Storm alleged incident

The NRL has been made aware of a video on social media that allegedly shows Melbourne Storm players in a room where there is a white substance on a table.

Nine journalist Danny Weidler tweeted, "(it's) too early to say investigation launched", but the integrity unit has been notified.

"Having seen the video it's not a great look," Weidler said.

"Another concern is they have been betrayed by people in the room with them."

News Corp reports the video shows two Storm players in a room which has at least six people in it, including the person filming.

The Storm were bundled out of the premiership race on Saturday in a 10-6 loss to Penrith.

MOD NOTE: Do not post the video, and do not name names.

So alleged white powder, not a good look but surely no more punishment than a confirmed positive in last years GF

What did Naden get, 4 weeks? That appears to be the standard now. From memory he got lucky as the ASADA rules changed around the time of the incident, and therefore dodged a much heftier sentence.

Does any reasonable person give a f**k if someone wants to snort coke anymore?

Can’t say I see a big deal if someone decides to consume it once in a while and is not addicted or dependent. More the issue of other illegal activities associated with the selling trafficking and proceeds

But Nathan Cleary taking a conversion five metres further in field will still the bigger scandal, somehow.

You know it “cost them the game” right?

It’s the same as when Critta allegedly put his foot on the touch line when scoring the opening try, which was later proven to be a misrepresentation of a photo sequence courtesy of certain Melbourne supporters on FB, when found that Critta’s foot brushed the touch line AFTER he had applied downward pressure, and the subsequent profound apologies from the same gronks later…
