Mellor returning to Sharks

FORMER Cronulla centre Paul Mellor will return to the Sharks next season from the English Super League, where he has been playing with Castleford.

Mellor has agreed to a one year deal with the Sharks.

The 29-year-old previously spent four seasons with Cronulla before parting ways with the NRL club at the end of the 2002 season.

He has spent the past two seasons in the north of England with Castleford.

Mellor made his debut as a 17-year-old with South Sydney in 1991 before spending time at Canterbury.
