100% that is the go. We're not talking about people in Koala suits with buckets collecting change as goodwill like 10 years ago. The charities actually employ people to stand there signing up people and committing to a long term deal. Of course there are charity organisations that do what you're suggesting, butmost are the former and it turns people off donating.

We always give to charities like the Salvation Army.. where there's a mature lady or gentleman just sitting on a chair next to their small table in the street...

If you see the charity collectors who you know are just gonna bust your chops and want to sign you up to this and that.. then just take out your phone and pretend you're talking to someone. They won't bug you at all.. Works every time..

Not long to go now. Just 27 sleeps and the new membership packages will be revealed. Hopoate is expected to sign by the end of the week, then we have 10 days to register him with the NRL which gives us about a week to talk him into playing for the Eels next year and another week to get him onto the brochures.
