THE DRAW
The new Jim Beam Cup would be run over 22 rounds with a top 8 finals sreies.Each team will play each other once(17 rounds)and teams in your group twice for another five games.The 18 teams would be split into 3 groups of 6.To compensate for having no NRL players to call upon the 6 independant clubs would play in one of these groups meaning a side such as Windsor would be atleast competitve in 10 games.

It would never work given the strength of some NRL clubs Premier league such as Canberra giving the wolves an absolute touch up or for that matter any team given their strength of their team. It would never even be close to competitive.

The competitions serve different purposes. Also you have a lot of teams doubling up with sides in both or forming affiliationjs between competitions.
