To all Rugby league fans in New Zealand i would like to wish you all a Merry Xmas and a HappyNew Year for 2007 from Workington Town fans in Cumbria.A bit of bad news from theTown camp concerning John Tuimaleuga, after a terrible season John went into training straight after the season ended to get himself fit and raring to go come 2007.I was watching John and Tanne Lavulavu in training and both have certainly improved on their fitness levels so things were looking good of the front row,now in the evening paper it says that Workington town have released Jt and not offered him a contract for 2007.That is a definite blow for Town fans who were looking forward to seeing John in rampaging drives and leading the way,but alas it will not happen and i personally think John will be a big miss unless Ged Stokes can bring in another forward pretty soon.My choice from NZ would be Taylor Penelese ,he would achieve cult status at Town if we could capture Taylor but i am only dreaming on this one.So it's a blow for Town fans with the loss of Jt but he is definitely worthy of a place in any division 1 team and i suspect Whitehaven might just give him a call. Not sure how he go's on the quota but someone will snap him up,i am disappointed but the Board must have a very good reason to sack one of the clubs star player.A Merry christmas to you Skinner from everyone back in Workington and a happy and healthy new year for 2007.Cheers all........

Best wishes to everyone in NZ, again from Cumbria. News that Town are trying to get a young Kiwi prop, and a full-back, is doing the rounds here. Can anyone put the meat on the bones? ;-) ;-)
