Looks like.

Him and Collis have been called up by the looks and Kerr, Patto and Brycey dropped.

Of course Sheens might be going to play Buettner in the front row.

I would rather see Buettner then Wilson in the number 6

Kerr and Wilson both had bloody shockers last week and unfortunetly/Fortunetly both might have payed the price

Yeah changes had to be made so I guess the ball is in Buettners court. If he performs he might be able to cement the spot for the rest of the year, if he fails that will be the last we see of Buettner in the top grade ever. I hope he does well especially the way he has fought back from injury.

I`m happy to see Dean Collis be given a go,but it is quite obvious Premier League form means nothing to the Coach!!!
Liam Fulton is in the top two players for the Magpies everytime he plays for them, yet others get the nodwhen it comes to picking the 1st grade side???Luke Covell, love him or hate him,he was players player last week playing lock, now he`s back on the wing???Gray Viane was the extra man down in Canberra, now he is totally overlooked???I thaught Bryce Gibbs was easily our hardest hitting defender last week, yey he too is axed???Dene Halatau was easily our best player in the losses to the Dragons and the Bulldogs, now after 1 bad game,he is 18th man???Our back row is noticibally small and lacking go forward???

The panic has set in again......hysteria bounds.....

We are gonna win this game, easy as that.

PS....Covell is a dud,Viane hasnt done a thing this year in PL,and Gibbs isnt ready for first grade.

Its time for a reality check...every 18 yo we have isnt up to first grade yet...give em some time FFS.

Cheers.

I never said any 18y.o we have IS ready for 1st grade! The point is that the players who play well in Premier League stay their, whilst the ones who perform ordinarily get called up???Tell me.where is the sense in that???

I agree entirley, except Bronson Harrison is definately up to first grade. Although he is nineteen, not eighteen.

i hope buttener has been practising his kicking game ..

as long as he LEADS the boys around the park and defends well, he'll be right ..

then again they all need to defend well ..

Buettner v Walker

I hope you've had your weet-bix Mick, you're gonna need it.

While we're on the subject of the pivot role, since Benji's season ending injury, tell me, with the finger pointers marking Benji's defence as suspect, have things improved in that area.

Of course not, so if that area of the role has'nt improved, what about the
offensive area.

Again a big fat unanimous noooooooo.

Ok then, please enlighten me on that famous quote used not so long ago.

Where is the blessing in disguise.

For this area of our game is definitely not disguised very well.

And it certainly is'nt a blessing.

Out of the younguns...I thought Bronson has got better as the year has gone on....I reckon about this time next year he will be a first grader full time.

I have a feeling after last game that the Halatau will find himself in the forwards as well.....seems to me that he gets stepped too easily for the centres .

Gibbs after looking like a gun has dropped off the pace IMHO....too many silly penalties and not enough hit ups for a prop,he is only a kid and should earn his stripes in PL...which Im sure he will.

Very dissapointed with the form of Farah and Viane.......I thought they were going to be tha start of the next generation of first graders but they really havent kicked on.And Covell too,I expected a lot more improvement out of him too.

All this leads me to believe that if we dont make a few key signings....ie a prop,2nd rower and a centre for next year we are still about two years off being a top flight contender, and thats only if the next wave of younguns)like Greally,Small,Lima,Collis,Kerr) can take the step up that a lot of the current guys werent able to.

Cheers.

Im all for giving Micky a go beside Prince. Last season his fellow half was Fitzhenry so this time he'll have far more support and i do expect better from him, looking forward to it.
