I don't think BearsFanDave checks the site regularly so he may not know that the site is down. And his email isn't working.

I was listening to Triple M last week. Maroon introduced an old song by saying, "we haven't played this song since Cec Blinkhorn played for the North Sydney Bears". Only a fan could work that reference in!

Girvie, from past experiences with forums.. Anyone can really pay to get the site back but they have to know the logins and passwords to do that. All the details regarding paying and so forth are in the administrations box.

At this stage, it may look like all data is lost but it could be just an issue with the paying option, therefore they could still have all the posts there. They might be just waiting for updated details.

Would there be an option of setting one up temporarily until the other one comes online???

I thought about getting a Bears forum on LU like Newtown have and then getting everyone from the old site across.

But then if mightybears.com came back online then everyone would go back and there would be an empty forum at LU, so i don't think that would be good.
