We were slightly edged out in a match at leichardt, with some dodgy ref calls not helping either.

with a couple of key players backing up from city v contry (including orford), facing a broncs outfit isn't going to be an easy proposition, especially with lockyer in some fine form and with the team coming off a close loss to joey's knights.

not going to be easy, but we can do it. eagles to win by 4 in another close one (hopefully ox brought his lucky kicking tee - he was pretty bad off the boot last week).

If Ben Kennedy is out I'll be very worried and definately would not expect a win. But either way I will be there in the crowd cheerin' the boys on!

it'll be good that our key trio of second rowers are not playing in friday's match. i think playing the next day would be murder for the boys if they did. i never played amything close to first grade, but i always felt super sore the day after a match. its good that we have alot of kicking options if ox begins to flag.

i'm a little disappointed that watmough missed out on a rep jersey, but he is really starting to show some form (he was great in the tigers game), he'll be in with a shout for origin 2 or 3.

should be a good game. anyone remember the one at brookie last year? that was a cracker. awesome atmosphere.

Broncos team struck down by food poisoning?

you wish!! You may get lucky if perry is out because that means we are struck using seymour and you know what a half-witt he is.

I'm going up for it so I'm hoping for a win!
But it's going to be very hard for King and Kite to back up after City/Country. I'm sure they'll be out to impress on friday so they'll be sore on saturday. I just hope they get through the weekend injury free.

That city/country game stuffed us up big time, mind you if we were the Roosters we would have had the bye this weekend

interesting to note that monas has been overlooked for the captain's armband in favour of stewart.

bit of a shame really, he was a decent captain last season.
