AC MILAN won the all-Italian Champions League final 3-2 on penalties today after 30 minutes of extra-time failed to produce a goal at Old Trafford.
Milan goalkeeper Dida saved three of Juventus's five penalties and Ukraine striker Andriy Shevchenko calmly scored the winning spot kick to clinch victory for Carlo Ancelotti's team.
Milan had the better of the match and Shevchenko had a first-half effort disallowed for offside and team-mates Filippo Inzaghi and Paolo Maldini also went close with headers.
Substitute Antonio Conte had the best effort for Serie A champion Juventus, heading against the crossbar two minutes into the second-half.
In extra time both teams retreated into their defensive shells.
