It's such a great stadium and good for Wales. I hope though that SL can find a way to keep some kind of a presence in Edinburgh however, maybe take another game there.

It's great to see it as a season opening event.

Not sure if I can make it though, it's blooming Valentine's weekend.

I just wonder what it's like to play in. Don't the players hate it ? Can they prepare properly for the match ? In as much as the warm up, some players need more time than others.

The Millennium pitch is a disaster, it's like an ice rink, League shouldn't be played anywhere near there, the players will be slipping everywhere again. Don't go there. In principle I'm in favour of a 'Magic Weekend', but in reality it doesn't totally work, I would have kept it as it is in Edinburgh if it has to remain.

I'll say it again but a bit louder. THE PITCH AT THE MILLENNIUM STADIUM IS AWFUL, NO LEAGUE MATCH SHOULD BE PLAYED THERE, IT'S MUD AND GRASS ON PALETS!!! AGILE, QUICK BALL PLAYERS SLIP ALL THE TIME ON IT.

I don't think longer studs will make a difference, as Shane Williams was slipping on it this year. As you know the pitch is on palets, so it can't develop proper roots. And the top part moves, it's a disaster zone. Unless you can have a retractable pitch as at Phoenix, Arizona, then don't bother.

Your a happy chappy when it comes to super league ain't ya?

Its going to be a great start, good stadium, good location. At least the season starts properly this year.

If Shane Williams can't keep his feet then maybe he should learn to run and step properly. He really is a pound shop version of Jason Robinson.

Funilly enough it's never seemed to bother the SL players who have played there before.

I have actually changed my mind about me thinking you aren't British SWR. You're obviously Welsh... You're arrogent and a co ck

It has been mentioned before when Magic was played there. And I'm sure the players were aware of this, and I would guess they changed the way they played a little.

And Wire man, I would say that you have hardly watched Shane Williams play, I haven't seen much of him to be able to compare him to J.Robinson. I know that Williams was once voted the best player in the world, I don't think Robinson ever received that award. Not that that particular IRB award means anything.

And John, it says British on my passport, that same as yours, and if you really knew me, you'd see that I'm under-confident. It just goes to show that you can't judge anybody from these forums. It's so false on these things, as has been said by far more educated people than me.
