I am shocked. Lindsay is a joke. Millward pockets £400,000 for a few weeks' work, nice one.

I will always like Ian Millward, but he must be in shock at how his life has turned upside down over the past few months. Him and his filthy mouth, eh!

The atmosphere at KR on Friday will be something else! I wish I could be there!

I just cannot fathom why Wigan have chosen to do this now? Its a PR self harming incident of the highest order.

I can hear it now, "There's only one Ian Millward" blazing from the packed terraces at KR as Saints plant Wigan firmly into bottom place.

What good does sacking him now do?

It's funny - I was entering results yesterday, including Wigan's round 8 loss, thinking hmm ... I wonder how long it'll be before Ian Millward gets sacked?

What the ****!!!!!

It isn't Millwards fault Wigan suck, it's the fact they have a **** and non-creative halves combo of Dennis Moran and Danny Orr... who are ****!!!!

Mind you, they've got heaps of injuries like Harrison Hansen, Gareth Hock, Bryan Fletcher to name a few PLUS Kris Radlinski retired

STUPID!

Nah, I hear he was caught briefing McManus and McGuire on his progress. Lindsey walked in on his phone call back to home base and his cover was blown.

This achievement is the crowning glory of Millward's career.

It's very bad timing, you'd have to tip St Helens against them by 60 this week?

Millward will find it hard to get another job, after two sackings in twleve months. A bit harsh though I think, and it seems as thought they don't have any other plan in place? Relegation here they come...

How would Wigan being relegated effect the SL? Would it be good or bad for the game over there?

The Chairmen of the NL1 clubs will be rubbing their hands with glee at the thought of all those Wigan fans. But it would be pretty embarassing for the RFL losing its most famous club who had a 14,000 ave crowd last year to be replaced by one of Leigh, Widnes, Hull KR Or Whitehaven none of whom would be able to pull crowds anything like that or have a ground that is anywhere near the size of the JJB. But look for the goalposts to be moved to keep them in, there has already been £100,000 put up to be offered to the winner of NL1 to stay down at the end of the season and they also have to meet ground criteria.

Probably the most expensive blind panic in RL history.

It wouldn't be the first time Wigan had been relegated. So, Dakink, in any properly run league system the effect would be would be neutral.

Lindsay is an absolute joke. Is he untouchable or what?

Who next for Wigan: the BBC have it between Lam, Farrar, Anderson, Edwards, Lang, Hanley, Faz and Kear.

If I had my choice I'd go for Edwards, but will he leave Wasps?

If not Edwards than any one of Farrar, Lang or Lam and I wouldn't touch the others with a barge pole.....

"Wigan have now had six coaches in seven years since Maurice Lindsay returned to the club as chairman."

There's your problem right there...

Exactly! He's cancer on Wigan, if they got rid of him then maybe Millward would have had a chance to do something with the club. No coach can do anything with an idiot in charge and the amount of injures they have. Plus it doesn't help that their bad players like Vaealiki, Moran and Brown are the only ones that can manage to stay fit. Millward is a scapegoat, sacking him won't change a damn thing.
