Just heard the the Count has rib damage and will(most probably) be out for the first SOO.

Surely they will pick Hodgson.They chose Hornby as a player to cover several positions,but surely Hodgo has to be the next in line.

Could we have oursleves a SOO player......

common sense would say pick hodgo he's in good form.. he's been there before and stepped up on that occassion and of late has been playing similar form that got him that blues jersey in the first place..
but common sense isn't always one of the best assests of a nsw selector

hornby had a shocker last night.. couldn't hack the pressure so there would have to be serious doubts over his selection.. and patten didn't stand out too much bar a couple of gift try's..
but a j gray is probably right about today's game.. if he can show what we've all seen.. then not only will we be safe at the back and go great guns for the team but he'll do him self a favour in the selection chances

I was soooo spoiled in the 80's,we had so many blokes in the side it was boooootiful.Its been a long time and Im psyched that Hodgo will get picked.

If hodgson does not get picked over hornby, I'll jump off a cliff! All year he has showed how good his form is this year. And as balmain_boy said, 5 LINE BREAKS! and had an absolute blinder today!

Hornby had an shocker on the weekend and dropped about 3 bombs, with 2 of them leading to tries.

IMO hodgson has a bigger chance of being N.S.W fullback then Prince being 5.8th/Half for Q.L.D.

He's the form fullback if the count ain't there. He deserves it, and I think he should be rewarded an we can miss him for the Tiges. great game, he seemed pretty stuffed after that tackle by Schif after his break in the first half.
