Marcus's thread should not have been deleted.
It was a thread which was started purely based on a former Rugby League supporter who had found sizeable gaps in the game as it currently stands. Whether you believe he was a former League supporter or not, is not the question. All this person was doing was putting his views and opinions across, in search of a mature and constructive arguement on this Forum.
That's exactly what he got.
There was practically no foul language used throughout the entire thread, and it never lost it's spark or quality, even up until the thread was terminated. It was a pleasure to read many Member's posts, and quite frankly, a lot of the postings were very informative, as far as facts and figures about the game were concerned.
A thread that comes to a stalemate, or takes an uneccessary turn, in one persons eye, is perfectly allright in anothers.
The thread was FAR from being worthy of deletion, and it was more than refreshing to read incomparisonto some of the dribble that exists at the other Forum/Community.
I don't think it's asking for too much if a Moderator was to consult with at least one other Moderator, on what appropriate action to take regarding deletions (threads)and terminations (members) ifand when the situationwas to arise.
Two heads are alwaysbetter than one ..... well in some situations anyway.
I'm not attacking you GavBT, but I believe in this instance you were out of line ..... big time.
Studebaker.
