I keep stumbling across songs by this awesomely talented Australian singer/songwriter.....she won a Triple J Unearthed comp a few years back and is coming out with a new album
Mosey on over to www.missyhiggins.com and have a listen/watch of her songs "All For Believing", "Greed for Your Love" and "The Special Two"....her sound is a nice mix of piano, distinct (non-American) sounding vocals....call it pop-rock, whatever you want, but this is some really sweet stuff
I know i'm normally a metal head, and maybe all those days of listening to metal has turned my brain to mush and i may have gone a little soft.....but this gal can certainly play and sing and write awesome songs
