Missy Higgins

What do you guys think of Missy Higgins, and especially her album. I reckon its a bloody great album with only about 2 songs that arent absolutely awesome. Anyone else a fan?

Pretty good album, although I hated Scar when it first came out and still do!

I saw her live for the first time a little over a year ago... she was the opening support act for The Waifs at the Tivoli last October. She was absolutely sensational and I bought her EP that night. I'm just hoping she stays nice and independant, and true to her jazz/folk roots because I'm sure it'd be very easy for her to just write pop and make a lot of $$$$

Missy Higgins is awesome - apparently she is AMAZING live too, my friends went too her concert in Brissy this year.

I don't think she is the type to sell out, but who knows these days really. I love the album but am getting a leeeeeeeeeetle bit tired of hearing them on the radio.

I saw her ages ago when she opened for JBT. Thought she was pretty good..

To get a real feel for Missy Higgins, I'd suggest listening to the tracks:

The Cactus that found the beat (a top little groovy jazz number)
Casualty (again showing her jazz roots)
The River (beautiful song - shows off her songwriting talents and amazing voice)

I wouldn't have a clue. Stereotypically she looks like a bit of a lesbian but I'm really not sure.
