Starc is from the Mitchell Johnson school of bowling. Just try and bowl fast. Sometimes it works. Sometimes it fails.

Its erratic and unreliable. He's over-rated, just like Johnson was

Yeah I’d prefer someone from outside of the squad, particularly with an eye to England. Either way I wouldn’t have him in the lineup for the first test of the Ashes.

There is clearly a problem with his action. He's all over the place on release and he's lost his radar... So why is the f**king bowling coach not fixing it?

Both are as overrated as anything. Gosh I hope Pattinson is fit soon. Jeez I’d love him, Cummins and Richardson as an attack rather than having Hazelwood and Starc being rubbish all day long

Siddle is depressing to watch. All that effort he puts in and he dishes up turd after steaming turd.

I'd keep Starc, his left arm erraticness gets wickets, he's a photocopy of Mitchell Johnston, but without the dickheaded attitude and shit facial hair.

Hazelwood though is just a slightly quicker version of Siddle. Nothing about what he bowls looks capable of getting wickets on a regular basis.

Jhye needs to be persevered with and kept. He is a different bowler to the outright express 145kph guys who just bowl straight up and down, and that is exactly what we need (and have long needed).

Need someone who can bowl a ton of maidens at one end while the other two focus on attacking wickets.

Haze and Starc are good bowlers who have performed well they just need a bit of competition to keep them from getting too comfortable.

Also Haze has stress fractures. They didn't just appear out of nowhere after the India series and no doubt affected him there.
