Moltzen is not a fullback!!!

Does anyone still think Moltzen is a fullback? I think he could become a good 5/8 or centre but he certainly is not a fullback.

His positioning in defence is terrible, has no support game at all and his kick returns are lazy at best.

Surely there has to be a change next week. Gallant should come in but we all know Sheens wont change a thing.

Get Gallant in there asap for me has more commitment to the ball in the air and on the ground than moltzen, he looks disinterested at times tonight. As did B.Ryan first two games and has showed zero energy in both games needs to be dropped or a rocket fired into him.

NO
And neither is Benji a halfback
And neither is John Morris a 5/8 or even a first grader
And neither is Dean Halitaul deserving of being picked next week
And neither is teflon Tim a descent coach

Actually, I can't complain with John Morris tbh. He's always the first guy the run in after the kick chase, he is solid in defence and had a mistake free game in offence.

What Morris lacks in flash he makes up for with effort. I can't say the same about Beau Ryan. f**k me Beau, you are being PAID to attack the ball and tackle. YOU ARE A THIEF AFTER LAST NIGHT'S PERFORMANCE.

I can get over dropped balls and other stupid errors but I can't cop a lack of effort. It was disgraceful.

As for Moltzen, I don't believe he's a first grader. He wasn't that bad last night, positioning wasn't as bad as week 1, but he seems lost in attack - not sure of his role - and he deadset has hands like feet. His effort smacks of a guy who's convinced he won't be dropped.

Come off it. Ryan, Morris, Marshall and Moltzen are only some of the players who dropped the ball almost half the damn time we had it. That's the reason we lost, not Moltzen's positioning. Moltzen is quality. I think Gallant is a better fullback but Timmy surprised me a few times with some good reads on Thurston kicks and the composure he showed when he scored his try was great. He will be great in time, give him the halfback jersey I reckon and put Benji back at six. Moltzen has a massive kick on him and is a natural ballplayer. Try him at halfback I reckon it'd go alright. Maybe even give Dunley a crack at half finally. Or Lewis.

You can't blame Moltzen for his 3 errors, 2 were Benji passes at his feet. He scored a good try, but his positional play was woeful. He hits a hole better than anyone at the club. I'd have him at centre or on the bench.
