WWE.com is continuing its trend of worked-shoot articles. This week the
site is claiming that Brock Lesnar met with his attorney to discuss the
contract offer, but that it's unclear when it will be signed (actually a
deal was done a few weeks ago). They also wrote that Kane was "arrested"
for stealing the Ambulance and abducting Lita on Raw.
RVD is targeting early September for a return to the ring following knee
surgery.
Chris Jericho has finally signed a contract extension. There was doubt
by some internally a few weeks ago that he wouldn't re-sign due to
wanting to extensively tour with his band Fozzy.
The story on Earl and Dave Hebner being let go is that they were
allegedly selling comped merchandise out of a St. Louis store Earl
co-owned with friend Nick Rendenour. After the scandal became public
knowledge on the Internet last week Rendenour was claiming that he had
bought out Earl's interests in the store. It's believed that there could
be some legal ramifications coming out of all this.
